Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute technical roadmaps for the GPU ecosystem and anticipate market shifts in AI infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new GPU architectures into Google Compute Engine.
- Oversee the lifecycle, performance, stability, and operational excellence of accelerator solutions.
- Advocate technically during critical customer issues and translate customer feedback into platform enhancements.
- Design robust software solutions for the scalability and performance requirements of Google Cloud’s global network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimization of industry-scale ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning.
- 5 years of experience with software design and architecture and testing or launching software products.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in complex, matrixed, cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
Benefits
- US base salary of $262000-$364000 plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
