Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of AWS platforms for Oracle FLEXCUBE and related workloads.
- Drive migration of Oracle FLEXCUBE and related services to AWS.
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available AWS architectures, including networking, access control, segmentation, and connectivity.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines and Docker- and Kubernetes-based environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application delivery, testing, and operational processes.
- Establish high-availability, disaster-recovery, backup, and service-continuity strategies.
- Improve monitoring, observability, performance, and operational readiness.
- Support Oracle FLEXCUBE infrastructure, database connectivity, and related integrations.
- Work with engineering, database, security, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Mentor engineers, build effective teams, contribute to hiring, and participate in technical capability development.
- Participate in an on-call rotation outside normal business hours according to the agreed rota calendar.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional IT experience.
- Mandatory professional experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE.
- Proven experience leading teams and technical delivery for large-scale or business-critical systems.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience covering EC2, VPC architecture, subnets, route tables, gateways, security groups, network ACLs, IAM, load balancing, monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and secure connectivity.
- Strong practical Terraform and Terragrunt experience, including reusable modules, environment composition, dependency management, and multi-environment deployments.
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced Linux administration and automation skills.
- Experience with high availability, resilience, disaster recovery, and service continuity.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and Oracle-based enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of Oracle data structures and Oracle LogMiner, including database change analysis and replication or change-data-capture processes.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience building, leading, or hiring technical teams.
- Ability to assess architectural trade-offs and communicate technical decisions clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to participate in the on-call rotation.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required.
