Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze engineering and business data to identify AI/ML opportunities.
- Develop code for core use-case functionality and progressively work independently.
- Design and implement procedures and workflows for AI/ML projects.
- Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy solutions.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and other project deliverables.
- Lead small AI/ML projects under the supervision of the enterprise AI/ML engineering team.
Requirements
- Be a currently enrolled junior or senior undergraduate or graduate student studying Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Have at least 2 years of Python programming experience.
- Understand AI/ML algorithms and be able to solve problems quickly.
- Have experience with Python, PyTorch or similar AI/ML frameworks, and programming IDEs such as VS Code.
- Be able to learn company-specific software and code-assistance tools quickly.
- Be available to work full-time and temporarily relocate to a Skyworks office location during the applicable 2027 co-op period.
- Already graduated students who are no longer enrolled in school are not eligible.
Benefits

- Temporary relocation is required to work from a Skyworks office location, preferably Irvine, California.
