Base Salary
$123k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop UI components for imagery and raster support in ArcGIS Pro.
- Use C#, WPF, and C++ to build software components following design patterns and development methodologies.
- Design and develop software components, frameworks, and SDKs for engineering teams and external API consumers.
- Collaborate on implementation designs with colleagues across teams.
- Diagnose and resolve root causes of incorrect software behavior and failures.
- Deliver high-quality software in collaboration with software and product development teams.
- Work in an agile environment to ship software on schedule.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building commercial software with C#, WPF, and C++.
- Experience with asynchronous programming using the Task Parallel Library.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and design patterns.
- Ability to analyze problems, articulate solutions, and collaborate effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Recommended qualifications include MVVM knowledge, C++11 and modern C++ experience, large-codebase experience, testable software development, ArcObjects familiarity, GIS and raster/imagery knowledge, and Scrum experience.
- Interest in full-stack development and experience designing intuitive UI/UX for complex workflows are preferred.
