Responsibilities
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver work in phases, and collaborate with teammates for timely delivery.
- Participate in product ideation with product management, design, and analytics while communicating technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues, and support on-call and operational efforts for team artifacts.
- Design, develop, and launch scalable APIs and ship web and mobile applications.
- Navigate and debug a large codebase, write tested and extensible code, conduct code reviews, and participate in interviewing.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Experience shipping mobile applications with native or cross-platform technologies such as React Native.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Kotlin or Python.
- Ability to translate business problems into solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, well-tested, extensible code.
- Strong debugging, code review, ownership, feedback-seeking, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- A related bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
