Responsibilities
- Translate customer IT needs and future goals into architecture products, design specifications, requirements, technical roadmaps, and executable implementation plans.
- Develop technical architectures for State Department ILMS logistics workflows, data governance, identity management, and security controls.
- Support cloud migration, ILMS modernization, advanced technology integration, and legacy module modernization.
- Apply knowledge of asset management, logistics routing, shipping, warehouse operations, procurement, inventory, diplomatic pouch and mail, and fleet processes.
- Mentor developers and help shape the digital solutions business and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a solution architect, technical lead, or systems engineer.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting the State Department Integrated Logistics Management System.
- Experience with State Department ILMS modules such as Asset Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, Diplomatic Pouch and Mail, or Fleet.
- Experience developing technical architectures and translating State Department mission and bureau requirements into technical plans.
- Secret clearance is required; applicants are subject to a security investigation, and Top Secret clearance is a nice-to-have.
- Bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is a nice-to-have.
- Nice-to-have experience includes ILMS modernization, cloud redesign, data migration, federal IT platforms, and federal cybersecurity frameworks such as FISMA, NIST 800-53, and Zero Trust principles.
