Base Salary

$112k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain automation infrastructure for configuration management and service deployment.
  • Automate operational processes, build self-service production platforms for application developers, and improve team efficiency and scalability.
  • Maintain source-control, binary artifact-management, software-distribution, and build-tool infrastructure.
  • Monitor production systems, triage and resolve incidents, conduct retrospectives, and improve systems and processes for reliability.
  • Collaborate with peers and partners, participate in learning and innovation activities, and join an infrequent on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience for the Site Reliability Engineer level or 5+ years for the Senior level as a software developer supporting Production Engineering, DevOps, or equivalent roles.
  • 3+ or 5+ years of experience using Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes in public or private cloud environments.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience designing systems for maintainability, repairability, and upgrades, plus proficiency administering source-code management tools.
  • Experience with Linux and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Golang, with a deep understanding of public cloud networking and reliability engineering principles.
  • JFrog Artifactory administration experience is advantageous.
  • Preferred DoD 8570/8140 compliance with at least IAT Level II certification, a current Computing Environment credential, and an approved specialty certification such as CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, or CASP+.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; an active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $111,500 to $199,800 for the listed additional U.S. location, with possible bonus or commission/bonus eligibility and annual refresh stock grants.
  • Flexible work arrangement requiring at least 50% of time each quarter in the office or field, with possible on-site work at client locations in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
  • Infrequent on-call participation is required as part of the role.
