Base Salary

$69k - $158k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance software for ground systems and real-time space mission capabilities.
  • Modernize legacy components and architect new mission-focused software capabilities.
  • Write source code for new applications and enhance existing applications and code samples.
  • Create solutions to complex problems in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Improve data processing, system communication, performance, resilience, and operational speed.
  • Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization when needed.
  • Complete the required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of software development experience using programming languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, Oracle, or Azure.
  • Required TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Preferred experience with Agile environments, Linux-based systems, containers, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud solution providers, C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, automated testing tools, and software application development.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
