Base Salary
$270k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Inform the product roadmap using customer pain points, existing solutions, and value assessments.
- Own technical requirements and make recommendations about what to build, integrate, and simplify for customer training and evaluation workflows.
- Design and run reproducible evaluations measuring the real-to-sim stack’s impact on policy transfer and real-world performance.
- Lead engineering delivery and personally build and ship critical production features.
- Set a high technical bar and improve the team’s robotics development and deployment practices.
- Work with customers and autonomy engineers to diagnose problems and deliver practical solutions.
Requirements
- Experience training, evaluating, and deploying robot policies in systems used by enterprise or government customers, with responsibility for real-world performance.
- Deep practical experience with simulation for policy training or evaluation, including NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, MuJoCo, or equivalent, and experience diagnosing sim-to-real failures.
- Hands-on experience with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, or both, and deep-learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Understanding of how visual perception and 3D scene representations affect robotics training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Experience running experiments on real robots from hypothesis through defensible results.
- Strong Python and C++ skills and experience building reliable production software.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Preferred experience authoring or maintaining a public robotics benchmark, taking an early product to repeatable customer adoption, extending robotics simulation infrastructure, deploying vision-based navigation or mobility policies, or building reconstruction-to-simulation pipelines.
