Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Deploy, manage, scale, and optimize applications on AWS EKS.
- Integrate MongoDB and PostgreSQL data sources and services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Maintain on-premises servers running Ceph, PostgreSQL, and NFS.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments.
- Support cloud-native tools, observability, Kubernetes operators, Helm charts, and infrastructure as code.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, cross-team collaboration, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or possessing equivalent work experience, with relevant coursework, research, or project experience.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with FastAPI.
- Familiarity with AWS EKS, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure services, databases, Linux system administration, and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, NFS, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Exposure to Ceph, Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes operators, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to write clean, maintainable code and perform thorough testing.
