Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, coach, and develop the first Applied AI Architects on the Security team.
- Set team priorities, account coverage, customer segments, and allocation of architect capacity.
- Partner with security account executives on account plans, pipeline and forecast reviews, and enterprise deals.
- Guide customers through discovery, evaluations, proofs of concept, and ongoing security workloads.
- Coordinate with security ISVs, systems integrators, managed security providers, Applied AI Engineering, legal, and trust teams.
- Create security playbooks, reference implementations, and evaluation approaches, and communicate learnings to Product, Engineering, and Research.
- Manage a small number of strategic security accounts through executive briefings and hands-on engineering workshops.
Requirements
- 12+ years of industry experience and at least four years managing customer-facing technical professionals such as solutions architects, sales engineers, or security consultants.
- Hands-on security expertise in at least one area such as application security, detection and response, offensive security, or vulnerability management; application security experience is highly preferred.
- Experience using LLMs for security work including code review, vulnerability discovery, triage, or investigation.
- Experience managing large enterprise security deals end to end, including customer security reviews and close partnership with Sales.
- Ability to explain AI security risk and value to CISOs and practicing security engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
