Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve tools and utilities that help internal development teams work more effectively.
- Collaborate with internal development groups, business analysts, quality engineers, and architecture teams.
- Participate in and lead code reviews to promote consistent engineering standards.
- Develop scalable, future-focused solutions across multiple technology stacks.
- Help advance LSEG’s adoption of DevOps practices.
- Build knowledge of the financial domain and support partner teams.
- Evaluate AI tools and integrate AI-powered automation and prompt-engineering techniques into development workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Experience with multiple programming languages such as C# and C++.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or DX1.
- Proficiency with databases and SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Python or Perl scripting.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with automated testing frameworks and AI-assisted development tools.
