Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scoring features for defense tooling products.
- Collaborate with U.S.-based product and engineering teams on shared roadmaps as the Korea-based extension of global product teams.
- Contribute to system-level design and architecture for scalable, reliable, and high-performance products.
- Mentor and lead junior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD activities.
- Engage with autonomy and defense customers through meetings and presentations to communicate technical solutions and project progress.
- Track advances in AI/ML, computer vision, and reinforcement learning to support product innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
- Experience building simulation platforms, ML training infrastructure, or developer tooling, ideally for robotics, autonomy, or defense applications.
- Experience with reinforcement learning frameworks and/or simulation engines.
- Experience delivering software in agile, high-frequency release cycles and working on complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, meeting, and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for daily collaboration with the U.S. team and documentation.
- Preferred experience with ATR, drone swarming, path planning, aerospace control systems, aerial systems, unmanned autonomy stacks, or closed-network and air-gapped defense deployments.
