Base Salary
$70k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, and support enterprise applications and platform services.
- Build cloud-native solutions using APIs, event-driven patterns, and distributed systems principles.
- Design and operate data ingestion and processing solutions for high-volume batch and streaming workloads.
- Evaluate architectural approaches and select technologies based on business requirements, cost, scalability, reliability, security, and operational supportability.
- Provide technical leadership during design reviews and implementation activities.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and lead by example on projects.
- Influence technical direction across multiple teams and maintain knowledge of cloud technologies and enterprise integration patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or cloud engineering experience.
- Experience developing enterprise applications with Java and/or Python.
- Experience building and operating enterprise data platforms for high-volume batch and streaming workloads.
- Experience designing and supporting distributed systems and APIs.
- Preferred experience with cloud-native architecture and Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred experience with Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Bigtable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Spark, and Apigee.
- Experience evaluating technology tradeoffs and selecting solutions for business and technical requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-team technical influence skills.

- Annual base compensation range of $70,000.00-$140,000.00 USD, plus eligibility for an applicable incentive compensation plan.
