Responsibilities
- Translate business problems into technical solutions and collaborate with the team on design, planning, and delivery.
- Build and deploy internal and external backend APIs supporting ABOUT YOU’s retail operations.
- Integrate external merchant partners and implement data transformation and enrichment processes.
- Own backend services end to end, including automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Contribute to reliable software architecture, programming practices, and team-quality standards.
- Apply agile software development and Extreme Programming practices, including TDD and pair programming.
Requirements
- Recent hands-on experience with Laravel.
- Hands-on experience developing synchronous APIs.
- Experience working with message-queue systems such as SQS or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, MySQL, Redis, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong ownership, self-motivation, responsibility, passion, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to act as a multiplier for team efforts and ensure technically sound results.
