Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and automation infrastructure supporting Geo developer workflows.
- Architect APIs and data contracts connecting execution systems, developer tooling, and build/test infrastructure.
- Implement evaluation harnesses, telemetry pipelines, and analytics platforms for AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Create automated feedback loops that use execution traces and developer telemetry to improve system performance.
- Build visualization dashboards and reporting interfaces that turn engineering telemetry into actionable insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of experience building developer tools such as compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, or test automation frameworks.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with data structures and algorithms, telemetry systems, data pipelines, observability platforms, benchmarking and evaluation systems for Generative AI models or developer agents, and developer-facing APIs or platform services.
Benefits
- US base pay is listed at $147000-$210000, with a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
