Base Salary
$80k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement firmware features supporting SPI, I2C, SGPIO, LTPI, PCIe, and other peripheral communication protocols.
- Provide strategic and day-to-day technical guidance to customers resolving platform integration challenges.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across diverse customer environments.
- Implement security compliance features including secure boot and platform root of trust.
- Integrate Secure AI engine solutions into NVIDIA-, Intel-, and AMD-based customer platforms.
- Develop and maintain BMC software for system monitoring, event logging, WebUI, and related platform functionality.
Requirements
- 10+ years of firmware engineering experience specializing in embedded systems and platform integration.
- Proficiency in C, C++, assembly language, shell scripting, and Python.
- Deep understanding of Linux operating system internals, kernel architecture, applications, and IPC.
- Expertise with I2C, I3C, GPIO, USB, LTPI, SGPIO, UART, MCTP, eSPI, and SSIF.
- Ability to port BMC solutions independently to custom hardware and proprietary algorithms.
- Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and ARM-based architectures.
- Knowledge of firmware architecture, bare-metal programming, and security implementations.
- Preferred: extensive end-to-end server bring-up and high-performance AI-server platform architecture experience.
- Preferred: experience customizing and integrating the OpenBMC stack across platforms.
