Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly available data pipelines for robot video, telemetry, and demonstration data.
- Own the data path from robots to training sets, including edge ingestion, MoQ/WebTransport streaming, storage, indexing, and retrieval.
- Collaborate with ML and robotics engineers to make fleet data usable for training and evaluation.
- Improve throughput, reliability, and cost across the full data path.
- Build tooling that enables the team to find, inspect, and trust data.
- Help set technical direction for data and infrastructure as the robotic fleet scales.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience architecting and optimizing large-scale data pipelines.
- Proficiency in Rust, Go, or Python; Rust experience is especially valued.
- Strong ownership and ability to drive complex systems end to end.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with ML, robotics, and hardware engineers.
- Experience with streaming video, telemetry-heavy systems, or robotics and edge data is a bonus.
