Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of scalable, production-ready AI automation frameworks and agent-based workflows.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions involving agent architectures, MCP integrations, predictive models, and neural networks.
- Contribute across the product lifecycle, including prototyping, API development, and deployment with software engineering teams.
- Test and compare modern GenAI frameworks and evaluate suitable solutions for different use cases.
- Develop clean, well-structured Python code and contribute to the evolution of SIXT’s technology stack.
- Collaborate with engineers and business teams to develop data-driven products and explain AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a technical Master’s program in a STEM field such as computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, or engineering.
- Have strong technical fundamentals and very good academic performance.
- Demonstrate strong Python programming skills and knowledge of computer science and machine learning through projects, coursework, or personal work.
- Have familiarity with modern GenAI frameworks and agent-based concepts such as LangChain or MCP.
- Have practical experience with deep-learning frameworks and classical machine-learning libraries such as scikit-learn or XGBoost.
- Have experience with Git, initial API development such as FastAPI, and containerization tools such as Docker; cloud-platform experience is advantageous.
- Be able to select pragmatic solutions ranging from heuristics to classical machine-learning models and neural networks.
- Communicate complex AI concepts and black-box models clearly and negotiate confidently in German.
