Responsibilities
- Implement functional, performance, reliability, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Automate testing for APIs, UIs, and native mobile or desktop applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams during design to create robust and valuable tests.
- Advocate for testable development practices and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Maintain and triage test results, identify complex software issues, and drive them to resolution.
- Develop tools to analyze and report test-result trends.
- Demonstrate testing work through demos and technical discussions.
- Refactor test automation, build modular and testable code, and develop build infrastructure.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience developing in Python, Java, Swift, C, C++, or Objective-C.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and development tools such as git.
- Experience testing and automating APIs, UIs, and native applications for mobile and/or desktop.
- Experience working with continuous integration systems.
- Preferred proficiency in Swift or Objective-C, XCTest, XCUITest, and Xcode.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of Quality Engineering methodologies and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to drive an automated testing project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
