Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and test the security of embedded systems, cloud environments, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Implement sophisticated attacks using techniques such as vulnerability analysis, signal processing, and physical attacks.
- Analyze real products to identify security strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with customers to understand security objectives, provide technical guidance, and meet requirements.
- Produce professional reports documenting findings, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations.
- Track developments in physical and logical attacks and contribute to internal hardware and software R&D.
- Follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and physical and digital security practices.
- Maintain technical knowledge through workshops, publications, certifications, professional societies, and cross-departmental task forces.
Requirements
- University degree equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Generally three years of related experience.
- Preferred experience with embedded systems, cloud environments, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Preferred ability to develop code in C, C++, assembly, and Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while contributing new ideas for technical development.

- Hybrid work arrangement with three days per week onsite at the Northbrook, Illinois office.
- Estimated base salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, plus eligibility for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of base salary.
