Responsibilities
- Design improved application workflows, feature designs, and testing protocols.
- Evaluate QA and testing software and solutions for the team.
- Provide tier-2 and tier-3 support for IT system incidents and troubleshoot complex customer issues.
- Analyze application performance, service metrics, issue reports, and data analytics for leadership.
- Create and manage workflows for customer requests, resource provisioning, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate application support with other IT teams and serve as a liaison between customers and support staff.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and communicate technical concepts to business and technical stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior staff members and contractors.
- Maintain project documentation covering technical details, goals, deliverables, accountability, and user expectations.
- Research complex issues, develop solution options, identify risks, and communicate design decisions.
- Facilitate team and cross-team meetings, workshops, experiments, prototypes, and user-centered design activities.
- Collaborate with business and development teams to resolve implementation issues and ensure quality.
Requirements
- BA/BS in information technology or a business-related field from an accredited college or university.
- Five or more years of related work experience.
- Strong knowledge of internet and web tools, software development, scripting languages, and database design and use.
- Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, relational database design, normalization, and NoSQL databases.
- Strong shell scripting skills and understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Ability to logically diagnose failures in complex systems and develop solutions for unfamiliar challenges.
- Ability to use visual thinking, storyboards, sketching, personas, journeys, maps, and communication designs.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret results, identify risks, and draw conclusions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, negotiate, collaborate, build consensus, and work with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision across multiple overlapping projects.
- Ability to develop new skills, teach others, facilitate discussions, and resolve disputes professionally.
- Ability to understand and follow operational standards, policies, and procedures.

- Hourly base pay generally starting at $64.63-$85.65.
