Base Salary
$109k - $109k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write firmware code, scripts, and tests for current and next-generation robotic systems.
- Assist interdisciplinary engineers with product design, prototyping, validation, testing, certification, and production execution.
- Design, build, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize robotics products and automation systems.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and technical documentation.
- Build and maintain scalable, resilient, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective robotics systems.
- Use and contribute to GenAI and AI-powered development productivity tools.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, resolve production problems, and participate in operational responsibilities including on-call duties.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience implementing data structures, developing basic algorithms, and/or applying object-oriented design principles.
- Demonstrated experience with at least one embedded programming language such as C, C++, or Rust.
- Preferred qualifications include prior technical internship or project experience, problem-solving and data analytics experience, embedded development experience, software programming experience, strong communication skills, adaptability to new technologies, and basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
