Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver software and firmware for common processors and microcontrollers.
- Support launch operations and the full software lifecycle, including development, testing, and operational support.
- Bring up and validate devices that communicate with and fly in space.
- Perform hands-on integration and troubleshooting of flight hardware and software systems.
- Analyze test results and investigate complex bugs.
- Collaborate with peers and customers while adapting to changing requirements and challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or another scientific discipline, or at least two years of professional software-writing experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least one year of software development experience using C++ or C.
- Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance.
- Development experience with microcontrollers and strong C++ software engineering fundamentals are preferred.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and networks, familiarity with NXP microcontrollers, and understanding of verification methodologies are preferred.
- Linux and Bash shell scripting experience, strong communication and documentation skills, and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary environments are preferred.
- Must meet applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
