Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize technical vision for a specialized domain.
- Decompose complex problems into practical, operational, and reusable solutions.
- Ensure the quality of technical design and implementation, including performance, scalability, and operability.
- Modernize monolithic systems into microservice architectures and event-driven platforms.
- Define long-term platform strategy, API standards, coding standards, and design practices with engineering and architecture leaders.
- Provide hands-on technical contributions while mentoring engineers and strengthening technical expertise across engineering and product teams.
- Lead cross-divisional projects, architectural reviews, and technology best-practice initiatives.
- Create communications, code samples, blog posts, and other materials to share technical knowledge.
- Balance multiple projects and maximize impact across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred experience includes a master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of experience with software engineering, solution architecture, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- 10+ years of professional coding experience with languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience with databases and database management systems is preferred.
- 10+ years of full software development lifecycle experience is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience with networking protocols and third-party distributed-system integrations is preferred.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and leading professional development, architectural reviews, and coding and design standards is preferred.
- Expertise in strategically applying agentic AI coding tools to systemic development challenges is preferred.
