Responsibilities
- Build backend services and APIs for onboarding, accounts, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, travel, foreign exchange, KYC, and risk flows.
- Design reliable systems for customer transactions, operational workflows, and future financial products.
- Integrate with internal systems, financial partners, payment providers, AI services, and third-party platforms.
- Own backend quality across reliability, security, latency, observability, data integrity, and incident handling.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, mobile, and AI teams to launch features safely and quickly.
- Improve existing systems by simplifying workflows, reducing manual work, and automating repeatable processes.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with production systems.
- Understanding of APIs, databases, authentication, authorization, queues, jobs, events, and integrations.
- Experience building services for real customers or internal operations at meaningful scale.
- Strong focus on debugging, reliability, security, monitoring, and data quality.
- Ability to balance speed, correctness, scalability, and maintainability.
- Fintech, payments, banking, wallet, KYC, fraud, or risk experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong English communication skills are required.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate personal contributions to building, shipping, or scaling serious products, platforms, or systems.
