Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and secure services for the Secrets Hub platform.
  • Lead complex technical initiatives, architectural decisions, and system design.
  • Set standards for software quality, security, testing, and CI/CD practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers across global teams.
  • Develop with AWS serverless technologies and AWS CDK in an infrastructure-as-code lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot complex production scenarios and improve long-term reliability and observability.
  • Help define the technical identity of a growing engineering team and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of software engineering experience focused on distributed systems and backend development.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies and AWS CDK.
  • Expertise with modern software development lifecycles, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to drive stakeholder discussions and lead architectural decisions for complex initiatives and system design.
  • Strong background in software quality, security, and testing standards.
  • Experience in cybersecurity or secrets management is preferred.
  • Experience improving system reliability and observability is preferred.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers is preferred.
