Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance iOS and Android mobile applications and the backend services that support them.
- Build hardware-agnostic, low-latency communication interfaces for streaming live sensor and optical tracking data.
- Create user-facing features that translate physical, biomechanical, and optical sensor data into actionable metrics.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product, Design, and Scrum teammates.
- Write high-quality code, conduct code reviews, and solve well-defined technical problems.
- Contribute to architecture decisions involving system performance, real-time data streaming, and application responsiveness.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing native or cross-platform mobile applications, ideally with React Native for iOS and Android.
- Experience with API styles and communication patterns for streaming data across mobile clients and backend systems.
- Solid core software engineering skills and willingness to learn mobile frameworks, time-series data streams, and cloud architecture.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and build intuitive user-focused software.
- Preferred experience with AWS or GCP, microservices, time-series databases, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Preferred experience with real-time video, wearable devices, streaming optical or sensor data, sports technology, or performance analytics.
- Preferred experience with mobile build and release pipelines, GitHub Actions, TestFlight, Firebase App Distribution, Jest, and Detox.
