Responsibilities
- Automate and streamline the deployment, management, and operation of infrastructure and applications in Google Cloud.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, configuration management systems, and monitoring solutions.
- Use infrastructure as code and automation to manage IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development, operations, security, business, and IT teams.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations to support knowledge sharing and infrastructure maintainability.
- Work in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Experience with GCP solutions.
- Regular scripting experience using Bash or a similar language.
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or GitHub and continuous delivery/deployment tools such as Octopus.
- Experience using Ansible to automate IT infrastructure.
- Experience using Terraform and implementing infrastructure as code.
- Awareness of containerized environments and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of SRE, service management, and application lifecycle management.
- Proactive communication and a practical, solution-oriented approach when working with business and IT stakeholders.
- Knowledge of network connectivity is preferred.
