Responsibilities
- Automate and streamline deployment, management, and operation of infrastructure and applications in the Google Cloud environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, configuration management systems, and monitoring solutions.
- Use Ansible and Terraform to automate IT infrastructure and implement infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate with development, operations, security, business, and IT stakeholders.
- Document infrastructure processes, procedures, and configurations to support knowledge sharing and maintainability.
- Work in an Agile environment.
- Apply knowledge of network connectivity as needed.
Requirements
- Experience with GCP solutions.
- Regular scripting experience using Bash or a similar language.
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or GitHub and continuous delivery/deployment tools such as Octopus.
- Experience using Ansible to automate IT infrastructure.
- Experience using Terraform and implementing infrastructure as code.
- Awareness of containerized environments and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of SRE, service management, and application life-cycle management.
- Proactive communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset for working with business-side and IT-side stakeholders.
