Responsibilities
- Develop SAP S/4HANA solutions using ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, SAP Fiori/UI5, and related technologies.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, coding standards, mentoring, and development-team guidance.
- Implement SAP Clean Core practices using released APIs, key-user extensibility, and side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP.
- Translate solution designs into technical specifications, estimates, and implementation plans with architects and business process owners.
- Use SAP Joule, GitHub Copilot, Cline, and SAP Business AI services to accelerate development and embed intelligent scenarios.
- Promote CI/CD, test-driven development, and DevOps practices in the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Conduct design reviews, testing, performance optimization, and Level 3 support for complex technical issues.
- Stay current with SAP S/4HANA and AI innovations and upskill the development team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on SAP development experience focused on SAP S/4HANA.
- Expertise in ABAP OO, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, BAdIs, SAP Fiori/UI5, and OData services.
- Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core principles, tier-based extensibility, released APIs, and upgrade-safe development.
- Experience leading teams of 3–8 developers in agile delivery environments.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and awareness of SAP Business AI offerings, SAP AI Core, Joule, and embedded S/4HANA AI scenarios.
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP extension scenarios, gCTS, ATC, abapGit, and Cloud ALM.
- Preferred experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, Commercial processes, or Analytics & Reporting.
- SAP S/4HANA development certification is preferred.
