Responsibilities
- Design, implement, monitor, maintain, and optimize SAP’s Sovereign Cloud system landscape for Germany.
- Set up multi-system landscape architecture and integrations across heterogeneous technologies.
- Provide on-call support for incidents and performance degradations.
- Continuously improve implementation documentation.
- Partner with engineering teams to design and enhance cloud operations processes.
Requirements
- Growing ability to work independently on technical issues while collaborating with experienced engineers across time zones.
- Solid working knowledge of GitLab.
- Foundational hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Good working knowledge of Linux, including SUSE.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Python, or Bash scripting.
- Intermediate experience with hyperscaler services, cloud computing concepts, and databases.
- Developing debugging and troubleshooting skills and an interest in solving technical problems.
- Ability to manage competing tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties and shifts.
- Willingness to undergo a governmental security clearance process.
