Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable software architectures.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into software and architectural designs.
- Code and develop prototypes using real code and data to validate designs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert who unblocks software engineers.
- Conduct technical reviews and guide engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and frameworks for project requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex software components and systems.
- Mentor and coach Tech Leads and software engineers.
- Develop software documentation, test procedures, and troubleshoot software problems.
Requirements
- 12–18 years of experience with a BTech or MTech in Computer Science.
- 10+ years of experience in product development as a Software Architect or in a similar role.
- At least 10 years of experience with core Java and advanced features such as streams, functional programming, and virtual threads.
- At least 5 years of experience with Spring Boot and associated Spring features.
- At least 4 years of experience driving or contributing to high-level and low-level design, code reviews, and coding practices such as clean code and SOLID principles.
- At least 4 years of experience building or driving microservices-based architectures or large-scale systems.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with workflow frameworks such as Temporal or Apache Airflow.
- Experience with reactive programming.
- Preferred: knowledge of the semiconductor domain.
- Preferred: experience designing, prototyping, implementing, and testing software and computer vision machine learning algorithms in Python.
- Preferred: experience with scikit-image, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
