Responsibilities
- Architect and implement highly available, scalable, and reliable cloud deployment solutions.
- Build tools and automation for large-scale distributed systems and Find My microservices.
- Collaborate with product, SRE, hardware, software, privacy, and other engineering teams.
- Contribute to design and code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Identify architectural gaps and drive solutions across partner teams.
- Build and integrate services across multi-cloud environments.
- Use observability and automation tooling to improve operational workflows.
- Lead enterprise-level projects or multifunctional engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with cloud architectures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong Java software development experience and the ability to use Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Hands-on experience managing and working with cloud architectures, including networking and native cloud services.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, container runtimes, and Helm-based package management.
- Understanding of network security, firewalls, encryption at rest and in transit, IAM roles, and secret management tools.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or Splunk for observability.
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar tools for modular, reusable multi-environment infrastructure code.
- Experience building and integrating microservices and working in multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Experience using LLMs or AI tooling for operational automation and workflow optimization.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
