Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead software delivery across the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and support.
- Build scalable software and cloud-native web applications for cash management and investment operations.
- Drive engineering best practices, lead code reviews, and help manage technical debt.
- Solve complex or ambiguous business and technical problems with tactical and strategic judgment.
- Lead small project teams when needed and mentor junior engineers through coaching, feedback, and hands-on support.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technology solutions.
- Use AI-powered development tools responsibly for coding assistance, documentation, analysis, troubleshooting, and productivity improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field, plus 5+ years of progressive software engineering experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong experience with .NET and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Node.js.
- In-depth experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience designing and developing practical APIs and software abstractions.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures and containerized microservices, preferably in AWS or similar environments.
- Working knowledge of automated testing and modern software quality practices.
- Proficiency with Linux platforms and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, multiple programming paradigms, and debugging large-scale application components.
- Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to use AI tools effectively and responsibly in software engineering workflows.
- Preferred: 8+ years of full-stack development experience, .NET Core experience, containerized application and public- or private-cloud deployment experience, FinTech experience with OpenFin, Finsemble, or Symphony, investment-industry experience, and AWS Solutions Architect or Developer certification.

- Base salary range for Maryland is $121,000.00-$206,000.00, with possible discretionary bonus eligibility.
