Responsibilities
- Advance research in foundation models on structured data and world models for business applications.
- Define scalable data, training, and experimentation environments for access to data and compute.
- Lead the creation of training and benchmark datasets combining semantic context with large-scale business data.
- Collaborate on evaluation frameworks and benchmark suites for novel research tasks.
- Make design decisions about underlying technologies and conduct scientific experiments on internal and public data.
- Drive open-source model and software contributions based on research deliverables.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, physics, mathematics, or another relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience with a deep background in machine learning on structured data and its business applications.
- Demonstrated ownership of scalable machine learning and data environments, including understanding of success criteria and trade-offs.
- Knowledge of current research and development trends in foundation models on structured data.
- Hands-on data engineering experience solving data challenges.
- Fluency in Python and ability to turn ideas into productive code.
- Experience developing with an SAP application and its underlying data models is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-cultural teams.
