Responsibilities
- Build and scale Notion’s global demo engine, standards, environments, narratives, scripts, and reusable assets.
- Create technical demos and transform customer or internal solutions into repeatable, field-ready experiences.
- Establish release, versioning, experimentation, testing, and maintenance processes for demos.
- Automate repeatable setup and maintenance using scripting, APIs, and automation tools.
- Partner with Forward Deployed Engineering, Enablement, PMM, Sales, and GTM Systems to package solutions and deploy demos in customer environments.
- Set demo quality standards and advise teams on custom or personalized demos for strategic opportunities.
- Train and coach customer-facing teams on storytelling, environment setup, delivery, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a technical or customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Demo Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Software Engineering.
- Experience designing and delivering technical demos, prototypes, or solution experiences for a SaaS product.
- Experience building scalable standards, templates, documentation, versioning practices, and operating processes.
- Ability to translate complex product capabilities into customer stories connected to business value.
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, automation, data, permissions, and enterprise security concepts.
- Working proficiency with scripting or automation tools such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience collaborating across Sales, Product, Engineering, Enablement, and Marketing.
- Strong communication, coaching, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Preferred experience scaling a demo engineering, solutions engineering, or technical enablement function.
- Preferred experience with enterprise sales cycles, complex customer environments, major product launches, global go-to-market programs, or productivity, collaboration, AI, or horizontal SaaS products.
- Preferred familiarity with Consensus, Navattic, Reprise, Storylane, Demostack, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Notion.
Benefits
- Competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits are offered; the stated total on-target earnings range is $220,000-$250,000 per year for San Francisco or New York City roles.
- The role can be based in San Francisco or New York City.
- Employees work from the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays as Anchor Days.
