Senior Software Engineer (Security)

Responsibilities
- Architect, integrate, and maintain automated security tooling including SAST, DAST, SCA, secret scanning, and SBOM generation in CI/CD pipelines.
- Ingest, triage, and assess findings from automated tools, internal testing, and external disclosures, then create actionable Jira remediation tickets.
- Partner with product owners, feature engineers, and engineering managers to prioritize and implement secure fixes.
- Lead threat modeling sessions and architectural security reviews across firmware, Android OS layers, client applications, and cloud backends.
- Participate in product security incident response, root-cause analysis, vulnerability research, fuzzing, and reverse engineering.
Requirements
- Requires 8+ years of software engineering experience with a heavy focus on security, systems engineering, or DevSecOps.
- Requires experience integrating security automation into build pipelines and collaborating with software teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Requires proficiency in at least two of C/C++, Rust, Go, Python, or C#.
- Requires hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or CircleCI, AWS or Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Requires exceptional cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be clearance eligible.
- Preferred qualifications include Unity-based hardware or systems integration, real-time data streaming and messaging protocols, cross-platform or cross-service API/SDK integrations, below-application-layer Android development, hardware-software interfaces, and automated testing frameworks.
