Base Salary
$155k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end frontend and backend features for route-planning products.
- Improve route-plan efficiency across routing products, route execution, and commercial navigation.
- Build interfaces and APIs with product managers and designers to improve planner workflows.
- Use AI appropriately for prototyping and refactoring while reducing product incident risk.
- Partner with engineering leadership to promote technical excellence.
- Mentor junior engineers and help strengthen the team’s technical capabilities.
- Engage with customers, customer success, and product teams to improve customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Ability to execute effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and customer audiences.
- Preferred experience shaping and improving routing or navigation products.
- Preferred experience mentoring junior engineers and helping them grow.
- Preferred experience working on 0-to-1 teams and scaling them beyond the startup phase.
- Preferred experience as a tech lead or in a similar role directly influencing other engineers’ output.
- Willingness to engage directly with customers when needed.
