Base Salary
$100k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and deploy new software and enhancements to existing software.
- Build backend software and support desktop application design, integration, security lockdown, documentation, and training.
- Automate application and configuration deployments, patching, and updates.
- Work with technical staff to diagnose and resolve software problems and respond to customer complaints and enhancement suggestions.
- Apply software design patterns, development lifecycle processes, quality practices, and security requirements.
- Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics and assist with software user manuals when needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience developing, testing, and deploying software using languages such as Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, TypeScript, or .NET.
- Experience developing, testing, and deploying Java software and using backend frameworks and development tools.
- Knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle processes, software design patterns and antipatterns, Git, integrated development environments, and code quality tools.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript ES6+, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, RESTful design, Node.js, Express, NestJS, npm, Go, Java, SOAP services, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jira, SonarQube, GitLab SAST, Jest, Mocha, and Chai.
- Bachelor's degree in information systems engineering, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC and comply with safety-sensitive drug and alcohol screening requirements.
