Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support front-end CAD flows and methodologies.
- Design and maintain Python-based CAD software, utilities, automation, and scalable system-level applications.
- Build dashboards and CAD indicators that measure flow health, quality, runtime, and design productivity.
- Develop regression and continuous-integration frameworks to evaluate flow stability, functionality, runtime, and result quality.
- Analyze and debug functional, runtime, resource, and quality regressions across CAD software, scripts, tools, flows, and compute or cloud environments.
- Use Git-based version control and code-review practices for CAD flow development and releases.
- Collaborate with design, verification, methodology, CAD, and EDA vendor teams to improve design productivity.
- Document software and flow releases, regression results, known issues, and methodology changes.
- Improve flow reliability, scalability, automation, and turnaround time, including through AI-based workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least six years of hands-on experience developing and supporting software, automation, or CAD flows and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with end-to-end Python-based system-level development and testing of complex systems.
- Preferred: master's degree or equivalent work experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Preferred: four or more years developing and maintaining front-end CAD flows, methodologies, automation, or infrastructure software.
- Preferred: experience with dashboards, CAD indicators and metrics, reporting or analytics solutions, and front-end design and verification flows.
- Preferred: experience with CAD infrastructure, flow orchestration, design data management, version control, object-oriented programming, Azure infrastructure, and DevOps.
- Preferred: hands-on experience developing AI-based workflows and automation.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Eligibility to access export-controlled information and ability to provide required citizenship or residency documentation.
