Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed requirements specifications for in-house and outsourced development.
- Develop embedded software for high-end, often ARM-based, microcontrollers using C/C++.
- Develop and integrate software in an automotive-grade multitasking RTOS.
- Specify, design, test, and implement complex software components.
- Collaborate with software architects, peer teams, hardware engineers, external partners, customers, and IT departments.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of new hardware designs.
- Onboard Danfoss projects from different business units into the platform.
Requirements
- Educational background in electronic, automation, or telecommunications engineering, or equivalent culture.
- Proven experience developing embedded software for complex automotive- or industrial-grade systems.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, Git, RTOSs, and multithreading coordination mechanisms.
- Experience with TCP/IP-based industrial communication protocols or CANbus and Modbus.
- Experience with IoT architecture and communication protocols.
- Ability to understand hardware schematics and layouts.
- Strong written and spoken English and Italian language skills.
