Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing and develop strong test scenarios and test cases.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and REST APIs.
- Test mobile applications across Android, iOS, and Windows, as well as web technologies.
- Perform regression, security, performance, backward compatibility, database, system, black-box, UAT, integration, and unit testing.
- Create and review test cases and TC/FTR files in accordance with QA processes and methodologies.
- Use automation testing, Selenium, scripting, and relevant testing frameworks.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues and identify defects.
- Work with monitoring, continuous integration, test management, and development tools.
- Test databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and work with cloud and microservice-based architectures where applicable.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in functional testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong API testing experience using tools such as Postman and REST APIs.
- Experience testing Android, iOS, Windows, and web technologies.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, test case creation, and test case reviews.
- Strong experience with performance or security testing and familiarity with database testing.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana.
- Knowledge of JMeter, scripting, BDD, C# frameworks, and languages such as C#, JavaScript, or VBScript is preferred.
- Knowledge of Core Java, Selenium, automation testing, and unit testing.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GHE, Jenkins, Visual Studio, Jira, and other testing tools.
- Knowledge of microservice-based architecture and cloud technologies is preferred.
- Experience with regression, security, performance, backward compatibility, database, system, black-box, UAT, and integration testing.
