Base Salary
$130k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Take customers from cold outbound through production integration and closed deal.
- Build and ship demos, tutorials, and sample applications showcasing Exa’s capabilities.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across the full stack, including API behavior and frontend rendering.
- Translate customer feedback into product improvements and ship fixes when possible.
- Conduct frequent sales and technical calls tailored to CTOs, engineers, and product managers.
- Analyze usage data and customer interactions to identify churn risk and drive expansion.
Requirements
- Several years of programming experience and the ability to build and deploy a production server from scratch.
- A track record of high performance in a demanding environment.
- Experience or comfort with direct customer interaction and high-stakes conversations.
- Tolerance for context-switching, ambiguity, and sustained intensity.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements.
- Experience shipping user-facing products end to end or driving commercial outcomes is advantageous.
