Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software applications from inception to release.
- Collaborate with electrical, systems, and software engineers to enhance Formlabs products.
- Write and ship code that enables custom hardware and supports new printer features.
- Write code and tests, primarily in C++, and debug software defects.
- Test software-hardware integration by working hands-on with hardware.
Requirements
- Experience working with embedded systems.
- Passion for firmware and embedded electronics.
- Willingness to work with C++ or C and comfort working with Python.
- Confidence writing, testing, and debugging low-level code from microcontrollers to embedded Linux.
- Development experience with Unix/Linux and Linux distributions.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Previous 3D printing experience is not required.
