Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize ExecuTorch compiler, runtime, developer tooling, Python APIs, model transformations, and low-level C/C++ components.
- Profile AI workloads and improve latency, memory use, cycle count, and power efficiency across model transformations, generated code, runtimes, and hardware backends.
- Develop optimized backends for Mali GPUs, Cortex-A and Cortex-M CPUs, Ethos-U NPUs, and other edge platforms.
- Identify technical opportunities and take solutions from initial idea through delivery with Arm engineers and PyTorch open-source contributors.
- Share technical knowledge and, depending on experience, contribute to technical projects and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience developing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality software with C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of programming, compilers, runtimes, or performance optimization, with interest in software execution on hardware and efficiency improvement.
- Interest in AI and deploying models on resource-constrained devices.
- Ability to identify technical problems, choose practical approaches, and deliver solutions to completion.
- Good communication, technical judgment, and ability to collaborate across teams.
