Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, and modify existing software using modern development techniques.
- Identify risks, recommend mitigation, track defects, develop resolutions, and report status.
- Design and execute unit tests, create build verification test plans, and track test status.
- Test and verify software products on simulators and production hardware in System Integration Laboratories.
- Identify and assess new technologies before implementation.
- Participate with systems engineering in technical peer, design, architecture, and system reviews.
- Work across the full software lifecycle, including specification, design, implementation, integration, debugging, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
- At least four years of related experience, including four years working in C/C++, four years with real-time embedded software, and four years across the full software lifecycle.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance, which is required to start.
- Preferred qualifications include algorithm development and optimization, VxWorks or Linux experience, Visual Studio, MATLAB, Coverity, SonarQube, KlocWork, Open Architecture Solutions, Atlassian tools, Kubernetes, Model Based Engineering, DevSecOps, Electronic Warfare, Built-in Test, or calibrations experience.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $108,800.00–$163,200.00 annually.

- Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
- The position is located in Baltimore, Maryland, requires 10% travel, offers no relocation assistance, and requires Secret Clearance to start.
