Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code using object-oriented programming and design techniques.
- Develop, modify, test, debug, and enhance software programs and software-intensive systems and products.
- Analyze software requirements, hardware compatibility, technical bottlenecks, bugs, and customer issues, then implement solutions.
- Contribute to software development processes, code quality, code reuse, revision control, and software organization.
- Develop software products and tools used for the design, development, and maintenance of infrastructure and platforms.
- Communicate with internal team members across disciplines and with client team members.
- Travel occasionally to domestic and international customer sites as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or master's degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming/object-oriented analysis and design.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design, memory management, multicore processors, and distributed systems design.
- Experience with TCP/UDP socket programming.
- Ability to address complex technical issues, develop technical solutions, apply advanced technical principles, and influence solution design or processes.
- Preferred qualifications include graphics or GUI development, socket programming debugging, hardware interfacing, real-time debugging, Linux-based operating systems with Red Hat preferred, Qt 5 or later, CUDA or OpenGL, SQL, cybersecurity, networking solutions, and DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Scrum or Agile development methodologies is preferred.
