Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React features for streamer and viewer experiences.
- Manage application state with Redux Toolkit.
- Develop live video and real-time communication features.
- Maintain a multi-target Webpack build.
- Optimize performance for a website serving millions of visits per day.
- Review code, including AI-generated code, and recommend improvements.
- Analyze existing processes and propose practical solutions.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional JavaScript experience and 2+ years of React experience.
- Have experience with a state management library such as Redux.
- Have production experience with WebSockets, WebRTC, or another real-time communication technology.
- Have experience with a modern build tool such as Webpack, Vite, or Rollup.
- Have strong HTML and CSS skills, including SCSS or CSS Modules and responsive design.
- Have sound software design skills and the ability to structure code around clear abstractions.
- Be comfortable with Git and merge-request workflows.
- Have strong written and spoken English and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be comfortable with shifting technical priorities and working collaboratively.
- Have experience on a large-scale, high-traffic website.
- Nice-to-have experience includes SignalR, WebRTC, live video streaming, automated testing, linting, CI/CD pipelines, Node.js, AI-generated code review, AI-focused workflow restructuring, and building or configuring AI agents and automated workflows.
