Base Salary
$107k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, test, and debug computer software applications and systems.
- Work with image and signal processing, real-time systems, firmware, database design, and operating systems.
- Own project outcomes, including budgets, costs, schedules, and technical leadership.
- Communicate with company personnel and customers as required.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to engineers and support personnel, and teach team members.
- Collaborate with clients, products, hardware, and other teams.
- Lead a technical group independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Fluency in C/C++.
- Proficiency developing in a Linux environment.
- Experience developing on a real-time operating system, including deterministic timing, task scheduling, and priority management.
- Understanding of concurrent and multithreaded programming, synchronization, and shared-resource management.
- Experience with device interfaces, memory-mapped I/O, or debugging on target hardware, with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
- Proficiency with software configuration management, code review, and automated testing practices.
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary or specialized tools and environments.
- Experience with, or willingness to learn, Matlab, Python, and Rust.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active DOD security clearance or ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after employment begins.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
