Base Salary

$107k - $145k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, analyze, test, and debug computer software applications and systems.
  • Work with image and signal processing, real-time systems, firmware, database design, and operating systems.
  • Own project outcomes, including budgets, costs, schedules, and technical leadership.
  • Communicate with company personnel and customers as required.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to engineers and support personnel, and teach team members.
  • Collaborate with clients, products, hardware, and other teams.
  • Lead a technical group independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Fluency in C/C++.
  • Proficiency developing in a Linux environment.
  • Experience developing on a real-time operating system, including deterministic timing, task scheduling, and priority management.
  • Understanding of concurrent and multithreaded programming, synchronization, and shared-resource management.
  • Experience with device interfaces, memory-mapped I/O, or debugging on target hardware, with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
  • Proficiency with software configuration management, code review, and automated testing practices.
  • Ability to quickly learn proprietary or specialized tools and environments.
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, Matlab, Python, and Rust.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active DOD security clearance or ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after employment begins.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
