Responsibilities
- Design and develop SystemC TLM models that accurately represent complex SoC architectures.
- Integrate processors, interconnects, peripherals, and custom IP blocks into the SystemC simulator.
- Define software requirements and implement TLM models for complex, large-scale products and systems.
- Collaborate with hardware designers, software engineers, systems engineers, and test engineers to translate system requirements into detailed models.
- Lead design, coding, and testing efforts and perform code reviews and regression tests.
- Triage and fix issues to ensure code quality and project compliance with specifications and schedules.
- Work independently, solve complex problems, and influence technical and organizational decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 3+ years or a PhD with 2+ years.
- 2+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Extensive experience with C++ programming and SystemC TLM or QEMU.
- Experience developing virtual platforms or simulators, with 5+ years preferred.
- Experience with ARM architecture, including CPU, GIC, and CoreSight Debug.
- Experience with firmware or device-driver development and debugging.
- Preferred qualifications include open-source development, unit testing, continuous integration, ARM Fast Models, and server architecture involving RAS and manageability.
- Ability to work independently, make critical decisions, communicate complex information, and perform extensive planning and problem-solving.
